A Discussion of
the Leading Edge of
Integral Philosophy
This workshop is designed for
those familiar with integral philosophy and who wish to explore the
leading edge of its development. Participants are encouraged to

The
Meta-Practice: An
Embodied Approach to Cultivating Authentic Interaction through
Perspective Training
The crucial challenge in cultivating truly authentic
interactions with others is our under-exercised and sometimes
underdeveloped ability to fluidly and accurately take perspectives in
the moment-to-moment flux of relationships. The Meta-Practice
seamlessly weaves three hours of skillfully moderated interpersonal
engagement with periods of precisely guided perspective training that
focuses on the specific moments generated between individuals. It
draws on engagement techniques ranging from method acting to gestalt,
and is grounded on cutting-edge Integral theory including the most
sophisticated perspective-mapping currently available.
And, best of all, every aspect of this theoretical
grounding remains where it best serves this work: in the background.
The work is focused exclusively on embodied practice and meaningful
interaction, so anyone can benefit from The Meta-Practice’s ability to
help them: understand the dynamics of complex perspective taking,
deepen their awareness of the perspectives taken by self and others,
foster an accuracy of perspective, and cultivate an embodied integral
skillful means. If you are interested in developing the ability to
cultivate authentic interactions through enhanced perspective-taking
ability, join us for this incredible workshop!

Awakening
the Evolutionary Impulse
Join What Is Enlightenment?
magazine's
Executive Editor Carter Phipps and EnlightenNext Education Director
Jeff
Carreira for an illuminating journey into the development of a new
integral spirituality. In this day seminar participants will have a
chance to gain a rare 360
degree view of a new integral, evolutionary spirituality. The day will
unfold in three parts. In the beginning session, Phipps will guide
participants through the spiritual and philosophical context of
evolutionary spirituality, bringing alive in simple and accessible
terms the powerful teachings and perspectives of great integral
pioneers, from Sri Aurobindo to Teilhard de Chardin to Ken Wilber,
setting the table for the session to follow.
In the second part of the day, Carreira will bring his inspirational
teaching style to the personal and practical sides of evolutionary
spirituality, sharing his unique distillation of Andrew Cohen’s
teachings of “evolutionary enlightenment”. This session will
highlight the transformative power of a genuine integral, evolutionary
spirituality and give participants a chance to bridge the gap between
powerful theory and personal transformation.
In the third and final session, Phipps and Carreira will lead an
experiential collective discussion. This session is designed to give
participants a chance to experience for themselves the power of the
evolutionary impulse, and the unique intersubjective or collective
nature of 21st century spiritual practice.
